How an Automation Sprint works

STEP 1:

Fill out the form below and tell me about your project. I'll come back to you quickly with an honest answer as to whether a Sprint is the right fit – and if it is, a contract and payment link to lock in your slot and get the ball rolling.

STEP 2:

I'll send a short prep checklist so nothing gets forgotten – logins, app access, the usual. We'll also have a 30-minute kickoff call to align on scope, review the workflow plan, and make sure build day can run without interruption.

STEP 3:

Build day. This is the part where I hit shuffle on a sweet synthwave playlist, ignore my inbox, and spend a focused day building, testing, and optimising your automation. When it's done, I'll walk you through everything via a screen recording and handover email.

Here's what you get:

  • A 30-minute consulting call – We nail the brief, review the apps involved, and make sure we're solving the right problem.
  • A workflow wireframe – So we all know what we're building before we find out the hard way that we actually didn’t.
  • Up to six hours of build time – Head down, do not disturb, actually building, testing and optimising your automation.
  • Documentation – A guided video tour of your finished workflow, narrated by yours truly and available forever.
  • Further recommendations – Notes regarding anything I spotted while I was building. Take them or leave them, but I'd probably take them.

Need more time? Additional days are £750 each, up to a maximum of three consecutive days per sprint.

  • How do I know if my project is right for a Sprint?

    Good question, and honestly the easiest way to find out is to tell me what you need. As a rough guide: if it involves one or two tools, a clear trigger and outcome, and you've been putting it off because you don't have time rather than because it's genuinely complicated — it's probably a Sprint. If it involves rebuilding how your entire business operates, it's probably not.

  • Do I need to be available on build day?

    Ideally? Not at all. The kickoff call exists precisely so that build day can run without me needing to chase you for passwords, access, or decisions. We sort all of that in advance, so when build day arrives, you can get on with your life and I can get on with building your automation/s.

  • Can I just build this myself?

    You could. And perhaps you will. But if you're on this page, there's a decent chance you've already tried – or at least thought about trying – and concluded that your time is better spent elsewhere. That's a reasonable conclusion. It's also why this service exists.
